On January 18, Huawei will open a flagship store outside the Chinese market in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and has signed a lease contract with Kaden Investment, a Saudi investment company.
According to industry insiders, in recent years, Saudi Arabia's demand for digital products and services has been increasing. It is estimated that by 2022, Saudi Arabia's Internet usage rate will reach 82.6%. By opening this flagship store, Huawei can more directly establish contact with consumers.

According to previous reports, Huawei recently held the latest "Huawei and Partners ICT Talent Double Election" in Saudi Arabia, aiming to further strengthen Huawei's local talent ecosystem construction and cultivate and spread the value of ICT talent. The double-election meeting was held online from December 31, 2020 to January 5, 2021. A total of 13 Huawei partners participated in the event and provided more than 70 jobs.
The double-election meeting is part of Huawei’s Saudi Talent Enabling Program (STEP). In 2019, Huawei released STEP for the first time, aiming to train 10,000 outstanding ICT talents for Saudi Arabia by 2023 through the four sub-projects of the annual CSR flagship event Future Seed Project, Huawei ICT Competition, Future Leaders Intern Program and Huawei ICT Academy. Form a virtuous circle of talent training and export, and promote Saudi Arabia to build a sustainable talent ecosystem.
It is reported that Huawei’s largest flagship store in the world so far is located in the Nanjing Building on Nanjing East Road, Shanghai, with a business area of nearly 5,000 square meters. It opened in June last year.
