iPhone 13 new information: thickness increased by 0.26 mm, camera module covered with sapphire glass

Citing Japanese media MacOtakara reports, based on news from the domestic supply chain, the four iPhone 13 models this year will not change in appearance and will still adopt the tough design of the iPhone 12. However, if the length and width remain the same, the thickness of the fuselage will increase by 0.26 mm.
In terms of the rear camera, we may see some very interesting changes. Although the "Yuba" design is still adopted and will be raised, Apple will cover all cameras with sapphire glass, so that it feels as a whole, rather than the current three independent cameras.
MacOtakara also pointed out that the camera modules of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be the same size, indicating that the smaller Pro model will have exactly the same camera lens as the 13 Pro Max, including an ultra-wide-angle lens with sensor mobile anti-shake. Last year, Apple only added better image stabilization and 2.5x optical zoom to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
In addition, it is reported that Apple will further narrow the area of bangs. By reducing the size of the TrueDepth camera, this may make the bangs on the iPhone 13 model smaller. Previous rumors also said that the entire iPhone 13 series will be equipped with lidar scanners, not just Pro models.
According to the reliable analyst Mr. Guo, all iPhone 13 models should be produced and launched according to the normal schedule, which means we can expect them to be available in September without any delay.
